Amanda is
a
Personal Trainer in Pensacola and the
surrounding areas.
Amanda has had years of
experience in exercise and
fitness starting in her youth as
a high school and collegiate
athlete. What began as a love
for athletics and exercise
culminated in a career dedicated
to the pursuit and application
of scientific principles of
exercise to the athlete and
non-athlete alike.
Amanda received
her Bachelor’s degree in
Pre-Medical Biology from
LeTourneau University in 1999.
After teaching high school for
two years, she received a
Master’s degree in Exercise
Physiology in 2003 from the
University
of Texas at Tyler. During
graduate school, Amanda worked
as a Clinical Researcher at the
University of Texas Health
Center at Tyler. Through her
research there, she was
published three time in the
ACSM’s Medicine and Science in
Sports and Exercise journal.
Amanda also served as adjunct
faculty to the University of
Texas at Tyler in the
Kinesiology and Exercise
Physiology Department during and
after her years as a graduate
student.
Amanda’s true
passion is helping people.
Amanda is a certified Personal
Trainer and Pilates instructor,
and employs multiple techniques
in improving the health of her
clients. She enjoys training
elite athletes but finds most
joy in improving the quality of
life of those who have the
greatest need.
